🎶 My Life as a Musician
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been a musician for over 15 years now, and I truly believe it runs in my blood. I grew up in Cebu, Philippines, surrounded by music. On my father’s side, many were musicians — and I guess I inherited that love and passion from my dad.
I started out playing keyboard in a band and regularly performed in our church, since I grew up in a religious family. That early experience really shaped my musical foundation. And of course — being a Filipina — karaoke was a big part of my life. That’s where I learned to sing and gained the confidence to perform (thanks to those fun karaoke nights! 😄).
At 23, I learned how to play the guitar. It all started while hanging out with friends — someone always had a guitar, and one day, I told myself, “I want to learn that too!” I started practicing, and soon enough, I was playing and singing on my own.
When I was 26, I went abroad to pursue music further. I worked as a performing artist in South Korea and Singapore, singing in lounges and music venues. It was a beautiful chapter of growth and adventure.

Playing Acoustic Solo in Hanoi, Vietnam
By 30, I returned to the Philippines and formed my own band. We gained local fame and had a blast performing regularly — it was one of the most exciting times of my music journey.
Until now, I’m still playing music around Hanoi, Vietnam and I feel even happier every time I perform — especially with my husband and our dog there to support me.
Music isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. And I’m so grateful for every part of this journey.
